Taylor Swift called out the White House at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) for not responding to her Equality Act petition. On Tuesday, White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere released a statement, explaining that the Trump Administration doesn’t support the bill “in its current form.”
