The CDC announced that cruising could resume from U.S. ports by mid-July aboard ships with at least 98% of crew members and 95% of passengers fully vaccinated. Businesses that cater to cruisers are elated.
Visteon said “certain customers allege the supplier has contributed to production reductions” caused by the ongoing microchip shortage. The supplier said those customers expect Visteon to absorb “some of the financial impact of those reductions.”
