The Haines City Commission is set to consider in July Cassidy’s proposed Wynnstone subdivision, which also calls for two school sites near AdventHealth Heart of Florida Hospital.
The land-use amendment covers 397 acres that includes the 367 acres voluntarily annexed by Haines City in 2020 on which Wynnstone and the schools will be built, and 30 acres involuntarily annexed to “keep it kind of straight,” city planner April Brown told the Planning Commission at a June 12 meeting.
