Universal Studios: Death Eaters are on their way
Universal Studios visitors soon may come face-to-face with Death Eaters at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley, the theme park has revealed.
The characters, the followers of Lord Voldemort in the “Harry Potter” books and movies, will appear in Orlando on select dates between Sept. 1 and Nov. 4. Universal did not specify times or dates for their appearances, although the start and end dates coincide with Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights.
A Universal Orlando news release says the “interactive live entertainment experience” will have the Death Eaters roaming through the park’s London area and the cobbled streets of the darkened Knockturn Alley.
There will also be Death Eater-themed merchandise for sale within Diagon Alley, Universal said.
Although film characters can been seen within the Universal rides and attractions, walk-around characters mostly have been limited to performers such as Celestina Warbeck singing in Diagon Alley and the Frog Choir at the Hogsmeade location at neighboring Islands of Adventure theme park.
The Death Eaters appeared at Universal Studios Hollywood in California for a limited time this summer.
