Lotus dealers stuck with sold Emira stock as emissions certification drags on
Lotus is delivering the $100,000 low-slung coupe to dealers ahead of receiving emissions certification from the California Air Resources Board. The car can’t be sold in any of the 50 states without CARB approval, Lotus said.
