SeaWorld Orlando announces more Seven Seas concerts

SeaWorld Orlando has fleshed out its concert schedule for its Seven Seas Food Festival, which is already underway.  Among the 11 new acts are classic rockers, country singers, an “American Idol” winner, a boy-band mashup and others.

First up of the fresh batch: Saturday’s performance by Shaggy, the “Boombastic” and “It Wasn’t Me” singer.

The complete lineup, subject to change, runs through May 3. (Artists with asterisks after their names are the schedule’s most recent additions).

April 5: Soulja Boy (and a “surprise co-headliner,” SeaWorld says) *

The concerts are included with regular SeaWorld admission and are held at the theme park’s Bayside Stadium.

SeaWorld Orlando also has announced details about its Mardi Gras festivities held on select dates during Seven Seas, including two new themed menu items — a king cake cupcake and boudin balls with remoulade sauce. Returning food items include banana fosters beignets, Cajun shrimp with grits and a key lime pie margarita.

The Mardi Gras celebration also includes a pop-up parade in Wild Arctic Plaza, a street party with DJ and a live music area. Mardi Gras event days are  Feb. 27 – March 2, March 4, and March 6-9.
