Universal releases more options for Epic Universe tickets, hotel packages
Universal Orlando has introduced its next phase for ticket sales for Epic Universe, its theme park that’s scheduled to open May 22.
The bulk of the new options are for Florida residents and include three days of parks — but just one day at Epic Universe. One of the choices includes, for the first time, a breakfast inside the newest installment of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter inside Epic.
Now available are passes that allow two days at Universal Studios theme park, Islands of Adventure or Volcano Bay water park, and then one separate day at Epic. Park-to-park powers are sold as an add-on and do not include park-hopping into Epic Universe. Prices vary with date. A three-day ticket with the Universal Studio, IOA and Epic, for example, costs between $479 and $580.99. The first date of use determines the total.
All prices for all combinations can be seen before purchasing on Universal Orlando’s official website.
Florida residents can also get Epic tickets with the “create your own” vacation package that has a four-night stay at an on-property Universal Orlando hotel and some early park admission privileges. Pricing varies with dates and selected hotels.
In addition, there’s a “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” themed hotel package that includes the three days at parks (but one day at Epic) routine, a four-night hotel stay, an ice cream flight at Florean Fortescue’s and a breakfast at Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley plus a breakfast at Epic’s Cafe L’air de la Sirene, the restaurant within Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.
Lastly, active duty and retired U.S. military members with a 2025 Military Freedom Pass can purchase a one-park, one-day Epic Universe ticket as an entitlement add-on to their pass, Universal says.
Epic Universe is under construction about 2.5 miles south of the original Universal attractions, near Orange County Convention Center. It will have three hotels nearby, including the already open Stella Nova resort. The new park’s lands will include Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe (featuring classic Universal monsters) and Celestial Park, an entry area featuring rides, restaurants and portals to the other immersive areas.

The first phase of Epic Universe ticket sales began in October and also focused on hotel packages, but Universal Orlando annual passholders were able to buy single-day tickets for Epic. There is a limit of six transactions per account. Those date-specific tickets remain on sale for June 8 and later. Posted prices range from $126 to $173 through the end of the year.
More ticket options for Epic Universe — including single-day tickets for the general public — will go on sale “in the weeks ahead,” according to the news release distributed by Universal on Friday afternoon.
No further details have been announced about Epic’s effect on annual passholders’ access or pricing.
