Summer Camp For Teens & Young Adults With Special Needs in Cape Coral
Ascend Transition Services is proud to announce its Summer Program for teens and adults with special needs. The program, which will run throughout the summer of 2023, is open to students in grades 6th-12th and young adults ages 22-35 who do not qualify for their district’s summer school program. With a focus on social skills, vocational training, life skills, and fun in the sun, the program promises to be a joy-filled summer experience.
The program will be divided into age groups, and each group will have a summer camp coordinator. Students will receive daily vocational training, which includes task support and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goal support. This training will provide students with hands-on experience and an opportunity to build essential job skills that they can use in the future.
