Clean Your Grout Properly to Avoid a Health Violation
If you own a business, whether it’s a restaurant or hotel, you will have to go through and pass a health inspection in order to keep the business open and running. If the health inspector finds your business having too many health violations, you could be temporarily shut down, fined, lose business, or closed for good.
One thing business owners and managers need to pay attention to keeping clean for an inspection (and all year round) is the flooring – the tiles and grout lines must be cleaned. A dirty floor is a big “no-no.” A dirty floor can harbor lots of bacteria and other bad germs. The floor is just as important as the counters, tables, food stations, etc.
In a restaurant, hotel, amusement park, public space, spills happen, dirt builds up and foot traffic drags in a lot of dirt and grime. Grease, food particles, and other grime can attract flies, rats, and other creates and can create a big health hazard. If there are health hazards in your establishment, you can compromise the health of your guests and employees.
