NASA assigns first Black woman for astronaut duty on space station
NASA has assigned Jeanette Epps to a future flight to the International Space Station, the first Black woman to have an extended stay aboard the ISS. She is slated to be on board the first operational crew flight of the Boeing CST-100 Starliner when it flies some time in 2021.
