Millions of tourists safely enjoy Central Florida’s theme park rides every year, but hundreds are injured in the process. Just how many and the severity of their injuries are a mystery due largely to state laws that allow major parks to inspect rides and file vague injury reports. The state needs to tighten the rules so park visitors will have a better idea what dangers they face when they go for a ride.
