State ‘anti-woke’ law rattles employer diversity programs: Are they on the way out?

Florida businesses may need to rewrite their diversity training programs for employees or scrap them altogether after the Legislature passed a “Stop Woke Act” promoted by Gov. Ron DeSantis that restricts the dissemination of “critical race theory.” Employment lawyers say the act makes businesses vulnerable to lawsuits if employees feel uncomfortable with ideas expressed in training.

This week all eyes will be on the Axiom Space civilian crew rocketing up to the International Space Station from Kennedy Space Center, but University of Central Florida researchers will be more interested in the eyes, and other organs, of the four space travelers when they return to Earth.
