Island H2O Water Park will again have a holiday lights spectacular, this year dubbed Holiday Nights.
After sunset, the Kissimmee attraction will feature brightly lit, themed displays for the season. Those will be enhanced by season shopping, themed drinks and eats, live entertainment and photo opportunities during the new event. Also in the works, a train ride, inflatable slides, letters to Santa, snow and foamy effects.
Holiday Nights will begin Nov. 8 with a Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule through Dec. 10. Then it will be open nightly Dec. 13-31. Tickets will go on sale Nov. 1. Admission is $34.99 ($29.99 for children).
A portion of the proceeds will be given to Give Kids the World Village, a Kissimmee resort that provides free weeklong vacations for critically ill children and their families.
Last year, Island H2O stepped in to host the third year of Night of a Million Lights, a Give Kids the World fundraiser. That event had been held at the resort for two holiday seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic. But when families started returning to the village in full force, it wasn’t feasible to have thousands of Million Lights visitors there.
