Small business owners of hair and nail salons and barbershops were adamant in a Saturday discussion with Gov. Ron DeSantis that they had solid plans to re-open safely. Already facing stringent state health requirements to operate, they said they made plans to limit the number of customers inside, have sanitizers and masks for employees and customers. After about a 30-minute roundtable with DeSantis and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, the governor said he’d review their proposals.
