VLF Automotive, a niche carmaker co-founded by industry veteran Bob Lutz, claims in a suit it shared plans for a “luxury Humvee” with Wanxiang Group’s Karma Automotive as part of a proposed deal to produce the vehicle for China, only to have Karma try to cut it out of the partnership.
