482,000 Floridians still out of work in January, as unemployment rate falls below 5%
The unemployment rate for the Orlando metropolitan area was 5.8%, the fifth-highest in the state behind the Miami area, the Homosassa Springs region in Citrus County, the Sebring area in Highlands County and the Villages metro area. The jobless rate for the Miami metropolitan area was 8.1%.
