Toyota shrugs off pandemic and chip shortage as quarterly profit nearly doubles
The automaker’s operating profit surged to $6.26 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter as it booked a 9 percent profit margin on rebounding sales, up from 5.2 percent a year earlier.
