The speed limit is being increased this week from 55 to 60 mph along State Road 408 through the heart of the Orlando area. The Central Florida Expressway Authority says that increasing the speed limit will get rule followers to go a little faster and, as a result, reduce a dangerous, collision-inducing differential of motorists poking along and others going really fast.
