Nearly half of 1,011 complaints about Nissan dashboards that get sticky, stinky and shiny after years of exposure to sun and hot weather come from Florida, according to the Center for Auto Safety. Drivers say the sunlight glare reflected off the cars’ degraded dashboards can become a traffic hazard and a threat to others on the road.
