Homeowners won’t lose their policies if their insurance company loses its A financial stability rating under a temporary reinsurance plan announced Wednesday by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. The program offers full state backing for any claim during hurricane season, even if their insurer goes bankrupt, the state said.
