Do you have dirty grout? Have you tried cleaning it? Does it not change? Do you scrub and scrub and nothing happens? Cleaning grout can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be – not with the right grout cleaner!

Grout is porous. It traps and absorbs all sorts of things including water, dirt, mold, mildew, and more. Remember that chocolate milk your son dropped on the floor last week? Likely, the grout sucked it up – even more likely if your grout isn’t sealed. Over time, the grout will change color and darken due to all the things it is absorbing, which makes your grout look dirty.

Regular household cleaners aren’t strong enough to clean the grout – many of these cleaners are too harsh and can break the grout. With the right grout cleaner, your tile and grout can look like new again in minutes!

Grout Shield’s grout and tile cleaner lifts tough stains from grout. It is easy to use, and you won’t have to scrub for hours. It is ph-balanced and safe to use on tile and grout. What to Do if You Stained Your Grout

What to Do if You Stained Your Grout

Accidents happen. Spills, dirt, pet’s relieving themselves, mold – you name it, your tile and grout lines are up against a lot of gross things. Since grout absorbs everything it comes in contact with, it will stain easily. So, what can you do if, for example, you spilled soy sauce or red wine into your white grout lines? Or, if your children trekked mud in after a rainy day?

Your first plan of attack is to clean your grout with a proper grout cleaner. Most regular household cleaners are not formulated to get tough grout stains out. Also, most regular cleaners are too harsh and will actually breakdown your grout. You want to use Grout Shield’s Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner, which cleans and lifts deep stains out of the grout’s pores. To use this product, you mix 1 ounce of the cleaner with 8 ounces of warm water. Then, brush the cleaner into the grout with a brush applicator. Let the mixture sit into the grout lines for a few minutes. After the cleaner sits, wipe away the cleaner with a sponge and towel dry the floor. The discoloration will be gone. read more
