Orange boosts help for tenants facing eviction to $10K
Orange County rolled out details of an emergency rental assistance program Tuesday. The revamped assistance program boosts the amount of money available to help tenants facing eviction from $4,000 to $10,000 per household. Payments will again go to landlords not tenants. “There is a large need out there that we’ll be able to serve with this sizable amount of money that we’ve received under the [second] COVID relief bill,” said Mitchell Glasser, manager of the county Housing and Community Development Division.
