Get rid of the I-Drive taxing district and make workers and housing Orange County’s top priority | Editorial
Orange County’s International Drive special taxing district was set up in 1998 to help the region’s tourism industry thrive. The district did its job. Now let it go away in 2028 as scheduled so the county can spend more of that money to help tourism workers instead of their employers.
