“King for a Day” has the usual onstage convoluted shenanigans of comic opera — the mistaken identities and displaced lovers. There’s a lot of back story to Opera Orlando’s upcoming production, too. The work — by opera king Verdi — has never before been performed in Orlando. It’s a first for the venue, too.
