U.S. plans $544 million loan to SK Group for silicon carbide chip wafer production in Mich.
The U.S. Department of Energy has conditionally agreed to loan $544 million to a subsidiary of SK Group to support the expansion of a silicon carbide semiconductor wafer facility in Michigan.
