Safety panel urges NASA to address ‘unplanned emergency ISS deorbit’ in annual risk report

With more potential debris flying about the International Space Station at 17,400 mph, the risk of a catastrophic incident has prompted the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel to urge NASA and Congress to come up with a better plan in the event of disaster.
